Cheesy Christmas Video: Hey Brian!
Brian Wilson is a genius. Brian Wilson has also had his share of "issues." And so, I give you, from the "What the heck were you thinking?" category....Brian Wilson making the poor decision to help out his daughters, Carnie and Wendy, in this music video for the song "Hey Santa."

Sorry for being Brian Wilson challenged, but in what way did he contribute to that? Is he the bumbling guy with glasses that causes disasters or something?
Yeah, pretty damn awful. I love how the camera tries to frame the chubby sister to leave out the larger of her two chins. But then I've never bought into the "Brian Wilson is a genius" thing. I thought the Beach Boys made some palatable surf music, but when they tried to challenge the Beatles they turned out some of the most unlistenable tripe imaginable. Even "Good Vibrations" is a disorganized mess that would have been right at home as a parody in "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story." And don't get me started on that trackless piece of crap Wilson released this year, Twee hackwork. It would be kind to say that the man's ingested far too many drugs over the years, rather than that he was never all that great to begin with...
